Apostle Rosemary (Walter) Lewis is the founder and first Senior Apostle of the NON-DEMONATIONAL CHURCHES UNITED (NDCU),

Born to farmers Eli Walter and Eula Mae Malone on Robert Alexander Plantation in Scotts Arkansas on November 29, 1951.  Rosemary begin working with her family as a sharecropper at the age of six. Apostle attended Nelson School as one of the first “black” children in Scotts Arkansas to integrate into an all-white school. At an early age, Rosemary was influenced by her parents’ religion which later led to her joining the Old Eagle Baptist Church. At the age of sixteen, both of Rosemary’s parents became incapacitated due to illness resulting in Rosemary leaving the plantation and moving to Little Rock, Arkansas.  Overtime, Apostle received her license to preach while under the tutelage of Bishop Marion Robinson Jr, Of Noah Ark Non-denominational Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Apostle Lewis further strengthened her biblical knowledge under the leadership and mentorship of great teachers, such as Bishop Floydzell Hill, Tabernacle of True Witness, Bishop Jerry Potts, Greater Jesus Holy Temple, Bishop Leodies Warren Greater First Pentecostal North Little Rock AR, Apostle Kingsley Eruemulor and Pastor Elder Roosevelt Lewis Senior, Old Rugged Cross Holiness Church, Little Rock, Ar.

In 2014, the word of the lord came to Pastor Elder Roosevelt Lewis Sr., the husband of Apostle Lewis, and commissioned him to begin a ministry. On November 01, 2014, the doors were open for Elder and Apostle Lewis at 3100 South University, and Simplicity of the Word Ministries was established (Old Rugged Cross Holiness Church).   On November 29, 2014, the first Shut-In was held with prayer and praises unto God.  On December 01, 2014, the first service was held, and the church was dedicated to the Lord. On this joyous day, fifteen souls was added to the House of God.   

In 2016, after much prayer and fasting,  Apostle Rosemary took steps to move forward in ministry and accepted the charge of the apostle and was confirmed.

In 2022, Apostle Rosemary  was given a vision. This vision was to form a new fellowship of churches. Rosemary proceeded to follow instructions and the name Nondenominational churches united was established (NDCU). This consisted of 12 churches. After the first convocation was held in August 2023, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the fellowship began to grow. The Charter was established and the location for the headquarters was agreed to be in Little Rock, Arkansas.
